Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, middle, after he emerged as the guber candidate of Labour Party in 2013. He has been released by the DSS who failed to establish any case against him.
The Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Ifeanyi Ubah, has been released from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Fides gathered that the oil mogul was released last Monday evening unconditionally after a “No Case” was established, following a tedious investigation by the DSS in his rift with the NNPC.
Dr. Ubah was arrested over his alleged connection with a claimed theft of petrol kept in his tank farm in Lagos by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
His arrest had been roundly condemned by his people in the Southeast Geo-political Zone who described it as further proof of the marginalization of the people of the zone.
