Engr Dom Okafor, APGA stalwart, Igboukwu
The president of Rotary International, Port Harcourt, and a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Engr Dom Okafor, has described the governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, as a technocrat and seasoned administrator whose experience has impacted positively on the state.
Speaking at a meeting with APGA stakeholders in his Igboukwu Ward One country home, Aguata Federal Constituency, over the weekend, Engr Okafor said it was because of Obiano's people-oriented governance that made him to decide
to play a role in the state and contribute his quota to the development of the state.
He said he first saw Obiano at Port Harcourt when he had come to address Anambra indigenes there and fell in love with his ideas.
He called on the people of the state to rally round the governor in order to maximally tap the dividends of democracy.
On the ongoing voter registration, Okafor urged the people of the state to avail themselves of the opportunity by turning out massively to register, noting that it was through such action that they could elect the right people to manage their affairs.

Okafor who noted that the ignorance exhibited by people in such matters, often turned round to haunt them, said he would soon liaise with media houses to launch an enlightenment campaign on the need to register.
On the meeting he held with his ward and local government chairmen of APGA, he said it was aimed at sharing his vision for the betterment of the state and expressed satisfaction at the turn out for the meeting, even as he rededicated himself to the service of his people.
