Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria Awka Diocese (CLCNAD) has fixed Saturday, July 29, 2017 for the second edition of her Annual Interactive Session with the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev Dr Paulinus Ezeokafor. The Interactive Session tagged “A Day with the Bishop” which will kick off at 10.00 am at the Catholic Women's Organisation (C.W.O) Hall of St Joseph Pro-Cathedral Parish, Ekwulobia, Aguata L.G.A, Anambra State is expected to have over 2500 faithful including priests and religious from the Catholic Diocese of Awka in attendance. Making this known at the general council meeting of Catholic Laity Council of Nigeria Awka Diocese held at St Mary's Eucharistic Parish, Nri, Anaocha L.G.A, Anambra State recently, the CLCNAD President, Comrade Emma Nwamaria Ezeokafor, said the Interactive Session which will afford the lay faithful another opportunity to seek clarifications where necessary on issues relating to their faith, will also be graced by the auxiliary bishop of Awka Catholic Diocese, Most Rev Dr Jonas Benson Okoye. According to the president, the event which its maiden edition took place in 2016, will feature discussions, interactions, questions and answers on issues relating to the faith and life of the faithful. He tasked the Organizing Committee led by the chairman, Hon Sir Anthony Okeke and the secretary, Mrs. Chinenye Okonkwo on a well planned event that will strengthen the faith of the entire laity of the diocese.
